Die
Bildungsstätte Anne Frank veranstaltet vom 6. bis 8. Oktober 2015 in
Frankfurt am Main die Tagung „Lernräume für soziale Veränderungen“.
Die Tagung bildet den letzten Baustein des seit Januar 2013 laufenden
Projektes „Educational Innovations Incubator – Empowering Civil
Society“.
Bildungskonzepten verstehen. Ein
Teilnahmebeitrag wird nicht erhoben. Weitere Informationen entnehmen
Sie bitte der Einladung. Ihre Anmeldung senden Sie
an Ricarda Wawra unter rwawra(at)bs-anne-frank.de. |

waren. Es geht um Opfer und Täter, Erinnern und Vergessen,
Vergangenheit und Zukunft. Diner,

Verlags-Anstalt (DVA), München 2015, 176 Seiten, 19,99 Euro. |

Summer
means time for encounters in German-Israeli youth exchange. During
summer months and especially during holiday season many encounters have
taken place and we hope they all went well.
At the same time we want to invite you to record your projects at www.Exchange-Visions.de in order to
fill the online documentation for German-Israeli exchange.
We are
looking back on a moving first half of the year, which has been
characterized by the German-Israeli anniversary year. We are very much
looking forward to the following months in which the German-Israeli
Youth Congress will be continued in Israel and for which the
preparations are in full swing already.
We are
sending best wishes and lot of success for fruitful exchanges during
the anniversary year 2015!
Yours
sincerely,
The

On
the occasion of 50 years of diplomatic relations between Germany and
Israel the German Federal Minister for Family Affairs, Senior
Citizens, Women and Youth, Manuela Schwesig, has announced the start
of a new German-Israeli volunteer program. The until now working
German-Israeli volunteer program for young Israelis in Germany –
Kom-Mit-Nadev – is not longer subsidized by funds of the Federal
Child and Youth Plan (Kinder- und Jugendplan des Bundes). Against
this background Kom-Mit-Nadev will finish its work at the end of the
volunteer year 2014/2015 in August, 2015. We
thank all persons and organizations that took part actively in
shaping the German-Israeli volunteer program Kom-Mit-Nadev in the
last five years! Further
information as well as a complete overview of involved organizations
can be found in the official announcement (Hebrew) and
on the website of Kom-Mit-Nadev (Hebrew). |

To
give a first insight into the results of the German-Israeli Youth
Congress in Berlin, we compiled a small selection of texts that emerged from
various workshops during the congress. Two
of the texts originate from a workshop for creative writing that has
been moderated by the Israeli author Nava Semel. A
broader documentation of the youth congress’ results will be
published by the end of the year after the second part of the program
that will take place in Israel. |

The
establishment of diplomatic relations 50 years ago has been a
controversial decision, especially in Israel. With courage and vision
people in both countries has contributed to build a close network of
connections and to create a common present. The exhibition
“Israelis & Germans“ of the German-Israeli Society portrays
the multifaceted development of German-Israeli relations with its ups
and downs. From
16 October 2015 the exhibition will be shown at the German Bundestag
and until the end of 2016 in 13 other cities. A Hebrew version of the
exhibition will be opened in Tel Aviv on 29 October 2015 and will be
presented on three further locations in Israel. Please
